Lets now rewind to the beginning a bit, landed in Kochi - late at night due to flight delay, etc. went straight to the Hotel. Aah thats Sabhya & Raja(Rajit)
and me, Bala, Sanjay & Raja again..
All showing signs of prosperity... around the middle ;)
Next Day morning...

Onto a short tour of Kochi.... crossing over to Fort Cochin
This is the Dutch Palace Museum... Lovely cozy building
pretty modest to have been a palace!!
Has arguably the finest Hindu Murals you will get to see... no pics allowed inside though :(

Idyllic surroundings... seems like we have really travelled back in time
we meet this tortoise roaming around.. only to discover its owner trying
to make a quick buck from people clicking away..

we all jump in with suggestions.. "Fish, Fishland, Something Fishy"

after a long time, probably 15/20 years
have seen more of them in Hollywood movies than on Indian roads..huh

Then we go shopping(no pics), mainly traditional saree for wifey's
and also a dhoti(mundu) for self!!
Finally in the evening we go back to the Hotel
and Sonu(second from left) has arrived...yippee
Then we go to Kuri's house

Day 3
D Day... off to the venue
First time - front benchers..
but we are informed, the driver had to take us to Kuri's house where he is waiting for us..
Some prayers.. Kuri is looking dapper in a suit (shed his Mammootty image I see)
Off he goes
and here they are... at the church

all rise..
and its done (not so fast really, took about 2 hours of prayers and rituals)
